Once I had mastered more income and found SMARTcuts to give me more time I found that my most valuable commodity is my ENERGY. Without the energy I lose the ability to be productive both in my business and in my family. After all, your energy is more costly than a gallon of gasoline when you consider what you are worth by the hour!

Here are some ENERGY savers you won't read about on the electric bill or a new appliance.

1. Take 10 minutes to breathe, change your surroundings or position occasionally as you work. I have begun taking very short walks…just a few houses down my street and back throughout my work periods.

2. Do something to reward yourself for accomplishing your goals or even just sticking to your plan. Take a "fruit smoothie" break. Get (or give yourself) a manicure. Take a bubble bath.

3. Get adequate and consistent sleep. Don't fool yourself! You need your rest for more than BEAUTY! Unless you have wee ones who never sleep, get yourself on a fairly dependable schedule. Kids need it and so do you!

4. Watch what you eat. Food is fuel so make sure you are running on PREMIUM, not fast food sugars and fats. Make sure you are also getting adequate amounts of water. Your waist line and your energy level will both benefit!
