Fun! This is one of my key criteria on my people search. I like to have fun and I want to be around people who do too. At one time in my business, I realized that I wouldn’t describe the majority of my clients as “fun”. They weren’t happy campers. I made a conscious effort to be more fun myself and to look for fun customers.
First, I checked my closet. Now I know this may seem strange, but I needed to get more FUN in my FASHION. Well, quite truthfully the FASHION was kinda missing too! I’d sunk into “mommy-ville” wearing safe, boring and outdated clothes.
I added some colorful and functional pieces to my wardrobe. I not only looked better, I FELT better too! If your resources are limited think of adding some fresh accessories. Oh! And don’t forget to check your shoes! Worn out shoes tell a tale of poor self image and lack of success.
Next, I added some FUN into my business. I used themes for my demonstrations and my promotions. Some were based on holidays, some on other events such as the Super Bowl or even popular TV shows.
