When you purchase socks for your family, make sure you purchase a different style for each member. You will want to have distinct marking on each set so you know exactly whose socks are whose. For example, purchase socks for you that have a pink stripe on the toe and purchase socks for your husband that have a red stripe on the toe.
When you have these easily viewable markings on each sock, you will be able to sort and fold socks with ease. This will also help when it comes to the washer or dryer eating your socks. You’ll find that you have longer wear when you standardize your socks so a missing mate doesn’t mean a totally trashed pair. Just buddy him up with another sock orphan!
