One thing that can often plague a BusinessMom is trying to work on the phone with children around. No matter how well you plan, they are drawn to you like an electro magnet the minute the phone comes near your ear!
I can't explain this phenomenon, however, during my many years of motherhood/direct sales, I discovered a SMARTcut. I made a special basket of toys and put them on the top of my fridge. These were reserved ONLY for the time that I was on the phone!
To keep the game going, I suggest that you occasionally add some little surprise or change of toys. These "Phone Toys" may just save you a business deal or two – or at least save some sanity!
